Wine is hard to make. It is an art, a craft, a science. It requires skill and luck. And you only get one shot a year. All the blood, sweat and tears that go into making a vintage can be wiped out in an instant; the moment that wine splashes into a TCA contaminated barrel, or runs through contaminated hose, that work is all for naught. Our dogs are here to prevent that and to protect your investment and livelihood. A quick sniff from Luca or Bobby can put your mind at ease and protect your reputation for providing a quality product. Trained by Scent Evidence K9, you can rely on these two for accurate results.

Katy is a certified sommelier, with additional credentials from WSET, The Society of Wine Educators and SF Wine School. She has years of experience working in the wine industry in different areas: winery tasting room/hospitality, wine bar, brick & mortar retail and online retail.
Tim is an enthusiastic wine fan with years of experience drinking the wine Katy brings home.
Both are dog lovers and Kismet K9 TCA Detection is just that- Kismet. Meant to be. What’s better than a job working with wine or dogs? A job working with wine and dogs!
Luca
Luca is focused and driven. He loves working and his job is sniffing out TCA/TBA. He is not just another pretty face. In his free time he enjoys laying in the sun and chasing sticks.
Bobby
Bobby is a natural. A superstar sniffer and a really good boy. From day one he was on top of his game! Bobby’s favorite past times are stealing blueberries right off the bush and cuddling with Luca.
